Mnemba Reef Explorer
Cruise from Nungwi toward the reef waters around Mnemba, then settle into an unhurried marine adventure. Alternate guided snorkeling with swimming, glass-bottom observation and relaxed breaks aboard. Look for coral formations and reef fish as your crew selects suitable stops for the day. The experience takes place offshore; landing on the private island is not included.

Mwana wa Mwana Snorkeling
Travel across the northwestern coastal waters to Mwana wa Mwana near the northern tip of Tumbatu. Enjoy a focused snorkeling session around coral habitat, with the chance to observe reef fish and underwater textures. Between time in the water and glass-bottom viewing, take in the coastal scenery with fresh fruit, water and help from your onboard assistant.

Kendwa & Kidoti Sunset Cruise
Leave Nungwi behind for an evening cruise toward the Kendwa and Kidoti coastal areas. Enjoy changing sea colours, beach views and the open horizon as daylight softens. Seasonal fruit, drinking water and your favourite music set an easy pace, while the assistant helps guests settle in and enjoy the journey. Return to Nungwi around sunset.

1. Your meeting point
Meeting locations vary by tour and may be in Nungwi, Kendwa or Fukuchani. Select your preferred departure point in the inquiry form, or ask us to recommend one. Requests are subject to the route, tides and availability; any additional transfer or departure charges will be explained in your quotation.
2. Boarding & return
Your booking confirmation will state where and when to meet. Our team will guide you to the boarding point and confirm the return arrangements. Please follow the location confirmed for your booking.
If your tour starts in Nungwi
The Nungwi kayak rental station and the Mama Mia Restaurant beach area are used for selected Nungwi departures. These maps apply only when our team confirms that location for your tour.

Departure times & boat capacity
Departure times depend on tides, sea conditions and the chosen departure point. 9:00am for daytime tours and 4:00pm for sunset cruises are provisional planning times, not guaranteed departures. Our team confirms the actual meeting, departure and return times in your booking quotation. All times are Zanzibar local time.
Please keep your tour day flexible and avoid arranging another activity at a fixed time that day: a tide-related change may move departure and return earlier or later. If possible, provide an alternative date or choose a flexible date range so we can suggest a suitable day.
Boat capacity: up to 18 adult passengers, or up to 20 passengers when children are included. Final passenger allocation is confirmed by the office.

Bring along
Swimwear, towel, sun protection and a change of clothes. Follow the crew’s instructions and avoid touching coral or disturbing wildlife.
Before you book
Routes, travel times, activity stops and visibility depend on tides, sea conditions and weather. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. Conditions are best reviewed 1–3 days before the booking date. Shared departures require the stated minimum paying guest count across all bookings.
An inquiry does not secure a reservation. Our office will confirm availability, the complete price and payment instructions. Full payment and written booking confirmation are required to secure these boat tours. Cancellation, changes and refund conditions follow the official Terms & Conditions and your confirmation.

Booking & payment FAQs
How do I confirm my reservation?
Create and send your inquiry. The office checks availability and provides a complete quotation and payment instructions. These boat bookings require full payment and written confirmation to secure the reservation.
Can I pay in cash or by card?
Cash in USD or TZS is accepted. The office confirms the conversion rate for TZS. Card payments carry a 5% processing fee, shown separately in your quotation.
Can I pay using an online link?
Choose the online payment-link option in your inquiry. The office confirms availability and sends the official payment instructions. Your selection does not make a payment.
Are meals included? Can we choose different dishes?
Meals are optional. Use one quantity dropdown for each dish to create a mixed order. Pillau meals are $15, rice with chicken or beef and vegetables is $17, and the vegan meals are $12. Other meal requests are quoted separately.
Are fish, coral or other wildlife sightings guaranteed?
No. Natural marine conditions, visibility and wildlife movement vary. Follow the crew’s instructions and enjoy the experience without touching coral or disturbing animals.
What if the weather is unsuitable or I need to change the date?
Contact the office. A different date or route may be possible, subject to availability and conditions. Cancellation and refund terms follow your booking confirmation and the official Terms & Conditions.
What is the boat capacity?
Boat capacity: up to 18 adult passengers, or up to 20 passengers when children are included. Final passenger allocation is confirmed by the office. Adult-only group inquiries above 18 require suitable boat allocation.
